Create your own future.
For you, your clients, your team and
your mentee!
In 12 months you will become a Playful Business Leader
After 12 months of training you become a Playful Business Leader, a true contemporary leader fit for the future: for your colleagues, for your mentee, and in your private life. Over the course of a year you will have 6 days of training about communication skills, motivating and engaging with everyone around you, including your colleagues, your clients and your family. In addition, you will be paired up – after an extensive intake with both you and the child – with a child in your area. You will become a mentor to this child and the two of you will meet up 1-3 times a month.
High-end trainings
The Training Programme starts with basic training about mentorship, communication and coaching. Subsequently, you receive 6 in-depth trainings on different elements of communication and coaching. These trainings provide you with scientific knowledge and practical tools for your professional life and for your mentorship.
The leadership programme entails the following elements:
Be self-aware: you learn how to analyze yourself and to act more consciously building on theoretical knowledge of and practice with transactional analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, core qualities, growth mindset, coaching techniques, intercultural communication and non-violent communication.
Understand the other person: using transactional analysis and non-violent communication techniques you learn how to better analyze and understand the other person. Truly seeing the other person regardless of his/her behavior or words is the basis for better communication.
Connect and communicate effectively: now that you have a better understanding of yourself and the other person, and have acquired skills in choosing how to communicate and connect with the other person, you can do this more consciously and thus communicate, connect and lead more effectively.
Why a combination of substantive training and mentorship?
Why do we combine high-end professional training with the mentorship of a child?
Your mentee accelerates your personal and professional development! In your efforts to connect effectively with your mentee who most likely lives in a completely different environment from yours, you will be forced to reflect on who you truly are and how you can connect with someone outside of your usual environment.
Your perspective on life, ability to reflect on yourself and empathy will be strengthened. Your mentee will most likely trigger new perspectives and will enrich your realm of possibilities in your line of thinking, as your mentee thinks differently from you.
It’s very likely that your mentee triggers issues within you that also play a role at work and at home. If this occurs, we consider this an invitation to start your journey within yourself and study your surroundings - as a result of which you will grow as a professional and as a person. We know this from experience as it happens with every participant.
In this time of major societal challenges, it is essential for every company to be at the heart of society. Aware of its surroundings. Your experience with your mentee will enrich your life and will turn you into a professional who is aware of it’s society and socio-economic context, while being full of strength, empathy and self-confidence.
In this programme you will learn how to become a true leader of today and fit for the future. The training programme provide you with scientific knowledge and practical applications that you can immediately use in your work and practice in your capactiy as a mentor as well. Your time investment therefore not only yields something for yourself, but also for a child, your career opportunities, your company and customer satisfaction!
Coaching, intervision and event
In addition, we offer 5 coaching sessions per participant, to support your personal development in this training programme. We also organize peer-to-peer learning sessions with the other participants in your group to share experiences of your mentorship and the trainings and to learn from each other. There is also a closing event in which all mentors and children come together to festively wrap up the year!

Mentorship
We conduct thorough intakes with both the professionals and the children (including their parents) who register. Based on these intakes, we match a professional with a child. The first meeting takes place together with Moll Academy.
The professional and the child meet 2-4 times a month, they are free to determine further details together. We do recommend that you agree on a fixed time, after consulting the child's parents.
It is discussed with each professional and child pair what you are going to do together. Everyone's interests may vary: one child would like nothing better but to play soccer together, while another child has never been to a museum and would be very happy to do something cultural with its mentor! The simplest activity can in fact be the most powerful. Consider the following options for activities that mentor and child can do together:
Sports: play soccer together in the neighborhood or cycle to the beach!
Creative: making a cool mind-map on your future plans, making pancakes or painting in nature!
Cultural: visiting a museum, taking part in a workshop or comparing the facades of the canal houses in Amsterdam together!
Or just doing something very simple: having a nice chat about anything, on a bench in the neighborhood!

Happiness can be that simple!
